ANIMATED FEATURE FILM

Julie Andrews provides the starring voice in this absolutely charming animated feature film based on the Arabian Nights stories.  Winner of the International Children's Film Festival. The story concerns a beautiful princess, a poor-but-honest hero, an evil sultan, and a slave of the lamp. Reviewers in 1949 were much taken by director Anton Gina Domeghini's clever choice of camera angles, and by Ricardo Pick Mangiagilli's musical score.

The style and quality of animation is traditional Disney feature film, similar to "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and Pinocchio".  IMDB.Com rates the film at 7.2 stars out of 10. Movies Unlimited.Com says "an enchanting, fun journey to the days of the Arabian Nights. Genies, magical lamps and beautiful songs fill the screen.
